We own and operate two of Gauteng’s leading lifestyle and community platforms - Joburg.co.za and Pretoria.co.za - connecting brands to engage local audiences through content marketing, newsletters, social, and digital media.
We are growing our publishing team and seeking a highly organised, proactive Digital Account Manager to oversee campaign delivery across our digital publications.
Role Overview:
The Digital Account Manager will manage the end-to-end execution of client campaigns booked on Joburg.co.za and Pretoria.co.za.
This includes campaign coordination, client communication, content briefing, inventory scheduling, approvals, and reporting.
You will be the key liaison between clients, sales, editorial, and design, therefore ensuring every campaign launches seamlessly, delivers effectively, and reports accurately.

Key Responsibilities

Campaign Coordination & Delivery
- Receive campaign bookings from sales team and collateral from client/sales team
- Ensure all required campaign assets are collected (press releases, images, links, etc.)
- Brief editorial, social, and design teams with clear requirements and deadlines
- Manage campaign timelines and ensure all booked inventory goes live on schedule
- Conduct internal QA checks across content, links, and deliverables
Client Communication & Relationship Management
- Act as primary point of contact post-booking
- Manage approvals, feedback cycles, and campaign queries
- Ensure smooth communication across internal and client teams
Reporting & Performance Management
- Track and report on campaign performance
- Communicate results and insights clearly and professionally
- Support post-campaign feedback loops and recommendations
Operational & CRM
- Log activities in HubSpot and maintain clean client communication trails
- Assist with internal workflow optimisation and campaign process improvements
- Receive campaign bookings from sales team and collateral from client/sales team
Required Skills & Experience
- 3–5+ years experience in Digital Account Management, Campaign Management, or Client Services
- Strong understanding of digital marketing principles (content, social, paid media, email, web)
- Proven track record of managing multiple projects at once in a fast-paced environment, consistently delivering high-quality results with exceptional attention to detail.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Detail-oriented with strong organisational and follow-up skills
- Comfort working autonomously in a remote-first environment
- HubSpot/Project Management tools experience (CRM tasking, timeline notes, workflow alignment)
- Familiarity with content publishing tools/CMS (advantage)
